Del Oro lost a close 38-25 match against Folsom for the SFL championship. Del Oro won 6 matches to Folsom’s 8 but Folsom’s bonus points in five matches carried them to the win. Logan Alexander (122 lbs) and Cooper Sheesley (152 lbs) avenged early season losses to their Folsom opponents. Alexander had lost to Ken Fernandez 16-1 at the Vista tournament but defeated him 2-1 in the dual; Sheesley had lost 10-2 to Matt Loftis at the same tournament and won this time around 6-4.
