The Del Oro Girls Team finished their season in 29th place at the CIF State Tournament. Senior Kaiya Maggini went 5-1 to take 3rd; in the semifinals match Maggini lost a close 3-1 match against Me’Kala James (Central East) but bounced back with a win in the conso semis and a pin in the 3rd place match to finish her career as a four time state placer. Maggini’s 3rd place finish marks the 12th year in a row (excluding the cancelled 2021 season) the Del Oro Girls Team has had a state placer.
