Del Oro’s varsity squad defeated Granite Bay 61-15 in both teams’ first SFL match of the season. Del Oro scored bonus points in all eleven wins, racking up 8 pins, 1 tech fall, and two major decisions. Granite Bay took the last three matches of the night with a major decision, a tech fall, and a forfeit at heavyweight. Varsity’s next competition is the Vista Eagle Invite at Vista Del Lago High School this Saturday.
