Clovis- Del Oro’s Varsity squad traveled to Buchanan HS to wrestle in the highly competitive Zinkin Classic. 10 of the top 20 teams in the state were in attendance, including host #1 Buchanan and nearby #4 Clovis HS. Del Oro was able to place 13th as a team with 120 lb Christian Perez taking 4th and 144 lb Jagger French taking 5th. Jagger had the privilege of wrestling the #2, #8, and #9 wrestlers in the state on the second day of competition. Also competing were Declan Leonard (1-2), Siraj Sidhu (2-1), Kam Rush (1-2), Jamison French (2-2), Wyatt Alexander (2-2), Patrick Bailey (3-2), and Jack Brunton (0-2).
