Del Oro Boys Wrestling made their second trip in three weeks to Stockton to compete at the Sac Joaquin Section Division 1 Tournament. The team took 2nd place overall with 292.0 points, falling just twelve points behind 1st place Folsom (304.0 points). The Eagles put eight wrestlers in the finals and not only won six first place matches but won five of those matches by bonus points. All thirteen participating wrestlers qualified for next week’s Sac Joaquin Section Masters Tournament; the top 5 in each weight will move on to the CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield.
