Del Oro Girls Wrestling took 1st overall at the Sac Joaquin Section Northern Regionals, beating runner up Folsom 194.0 to 184.5. The team put four girls in the finals and finished with two champions. This marks the 9th year in a row the girls team has won the Northern Regional (excluding the 2021 COVID year when no competition took place). Next up for the team is the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament in Stockton this weekend. The top 5 in each weight class will qualify for the CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield. Good luck!
