Del Oro Varsity 559 traveled south to the Doc Buchanan Tournament in Clovis. The Doc B is one of the most difficult high school tournaments in the nation, attracting top teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and more. Declan Leonard (113 lbs), Nate Mitchell (126 lbs), and Kam Rush (144 lbs) all went 2-2 at the tournament.
Next up for the team is a home dual against Whitney HS on Wednesday with a quick turnaround for a trip to Temecula Valley for the Battle for the Belt this weekend.
