Del Oro Varsity Girls Wrestling competed at the RM Parks Invitational (Monache HS) this weekend. Seven girls made the trip with four girls placing. Kaiya Maggini (130 lbs) and Brynn Madden (145 lbs) made it to the championship match; Maggini pinned her opponent to take first and Madden lost a close 1-0 decision to finish runner up.

Del Oro Girls JV Team competed at the Todd Wilcox Memorial Tournament this weekend, bringing home three medals and two champions. Layla French and Katherine Gordon took first place, finishing with four pins and one major decision between them. Madilynn Long took third place after going 3-1 on the day. Also competing were Makayla Clark, Eva Young, Kadence Gray, and Sierra Gutkowski.
