Del Oro JV Boys Wrestling started the season at West Park JV Invitational yesterday, competing in a fourteen team field of host West Park, Foothill-Sacramento, Placer, Bear River, Franklin of Elk Grove, Pleasant Grove, Whitney, Inderkum, Granite Bay, Vista Del Lago, Lincoln, River City, Nevada Union, Antelope, and Twelve Bridges. Eleven Eagles went undefeated and took home first place finishes, with seven more finishing in the top three in their pool.
Next up for the JV team is an away match against Granite Bay on Wednesday and the Todd Wilcox Memorial Tournament at Folsom HS on Saturday.
