Del Oro Girls Wrestling took 1st overall at the Sac Joaquin Section Northern Regionals, outscoring second place Rocklin by nearly 80 points. The team had nine placers, including three champions and two runner-ups. This marks the 8th year in a row the girls team has won the Northern Regional (excluding the 2021 COVID year when no competition took place). Next up for the team is the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament in Stockton. The top five placers in each weight class will move on to the State Meet in Bakersfield.
