Dave Leonard
Dave Leonard (Del Oro HS, 1996) started coaching at Del Oro in 2023. Prior to this he had been actively involved in local youth wrestling as a coach since 2016. Dave wrestled for Del Oro HS, winning the Sac Joaquin Section Tournament and placing 4th at the CIF State Tournament at 112 lbs in 1996. From there he attended Sierra College where he won the 1997 CCCAA State Wrestling Tournament at 118 lbs. He competed at CSU Fullerton at 125 lbs for two seasons. Dave is married to Kali Leonard and has a son, Declan, who competes for Del Oro.
