Coach Amir begins his fourth year at Del Oro High School coaching basketball. He is currently coaching the Freshman and JV girls basketball teams. With a passion for developing young athletes both on and off the court, he focuses on building skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Coach Amir’s coaching philosophy emphasizes hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for the game.

Before joining Del Oro, Coach Amir coached basketball at Franklin Elementary, the De’Aaron Fox camp, and various AAU programs. He was drawn to coaching girls’ basketball because he believes in inspiring young female athletes to reach their full potential, both as players and individuals. 

In his free time, Coach Amir enjoys watching NCAA Women's Basketball and WNBA games, where he appreciates the skill and determination of college and professional players. He is excited to continue fostering a positive and competitive environment for the girls.
