George Foucek
Coach George Foucek is in his 2nd year at Del Oro as JV Boys water polo and swim coach. He attended Jesuit High School in Carmichael where he was part of SJS Champion Water Polo and National Champion swim teams. He played water polo competitively with Sacramento Water Polo club. He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he played water polo and graduated with a BA in English. George previously coached water polo at Jesuit High School, Sac Polo and has trained water polo athletes from many local high schools, including Del Oro. He was also a longtime USA Water Polo, CIF and collegiate water polo official.
George and wife Kate have 4 children, 1 currently attending Del Oro. He is a volunteer board member of the Loomis Dolphins Swim Team. Water Polo runs in the family... Kate was inducted into the Sierra College athletics Hall of Fame and finished her water polo playing career for Indiana University. Daughter Helen, Del Oro Alumna, currently plays for the Wolverines
