Jennifer Isaac
Coach Isaac has served as the head coach of the boys’ and girls’ tennis teams since 2005. Over that time, her teams have captured two SFL league titles, three Section titles, and two NorCal Team Qualifier bids. Her players have also excelled individually, earning SFL and Section championships in both singles and doubles and have moved on to play DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, & JC college tennis. Her coaching excellence has been recognized widely, including honors as NorCal USPTA Coach of the Year, Sac Bee Tennis Coach of the Year, and the GESPY’s Coach of the Year at Del Oro. As a player, Coach Isaac competed at the collegiate level—first with Division III 1995 National Champions Kenyon College, then at American River College where she was ranked in the state, and finally at UC Santa Cruz, finishing her career in 1997 with national rankings at #12 doubles & #29 singles and #15 team finish.
She takes special pride in running a no-cut program, a rarity at the varsity level, ensuring opportunities for athletes of all skill levels. In 2025, the girls’ program welcomed 65 players, combining depth with quality instruction so that new athletes develop the skills to compete alongside seasoned players in a short amount of time.
